Welcome to our student section!

We hope that you'll find this section invaluable throughout your three years (or more) at University.

We'll be running regular competitions, offering you ways in which you can make your meagre Student Loan last longer, give you tips on how to survive being a student and much much more.
For those new to the north west, we've compiled small but perfectly formed guides to LIVERPOOL and MANCHESTER.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for this section or the site in general (keep it clean, if you please!) then we'll be pleased to hear from you.

Don't feel that this is the only part of the site that is of use to you.

We hope you'll enjoy the music that our bands make (you can hear streams in the Music section - here) there's also our Music Industry News section (here) which has all the latest about what's going on in the music industry - impress/stun/gobsmack your friends by casually dropping in the conversation the latest info about, say, MVC going bust, The Beatles suing EMI and much much more.

MUSIC INDUSTRY & ENTERTAINMENT JOBS/ WORK EXPERIENCE/COURSES:

WANTED: Street Teamers for Candy Productions

WHAT IS A STREET TEAM?
Simple.
It’s people – hopefully like you – who are really into music!
And those who want to let everyone know about the great music we produce – and get a great reference and bulk up your CV in the process!

WHAT WILL WE ASK YOU TO DO AS A MEMBER OF OUR STREET TEAM?

We're looking for people who love spending time online or out and about at gigs, or both.
The main areas of promotion will be involve:

1. Simply adding our acts logos, and weblinks to your signature on the message boards you currently post on.

2. Spend 30 minutes to an hour each week promoting our bands, their releases and their gigs.

3. Spend as little or a much time as you like at our bands gigs, collecting email addresses for the band’s mailing list and/or handing out flyers.

You can do as little or as much of the above as you like; if you don’t fancy collecting email addresses for example then you don’t have to – just give out flyers instead.

WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
1. Free gig entry for you plus one into our acts gigs.
2. If you require a reference for a job we’ll be more than happy to provide a glowing one!
3. Make new friends, meet other people who love music as much as you do!

INTERESTED? Then email me cath@candyproductions.co.uk and tell me a little bit about yourself – are you at school/college/uni, where you live, what music you like etc etc.

Hope to hear from you soon

But fear not!
