Welcome to our student section!
We hope that you'll find this section invaluable
throughout your three years (or more) at University.
We'll be running regular competitions, offering you ways in which
you can make your meagre Student Loan last longer, give you tips
on how to survive being a student and much much more.
For those new to the north west, we've compiled small but perfectly
formed guides to LIVERPOOL
and MANCHESTER.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for this section or the site
in general (keep it clean, if you please!) then we'll be pleased
to hear from you.
Don't feel that this is the only part of the site that is of use
to you.
We hope you'll enjoy the music that our bands make (you can hear
streams in the Music section - here)
there's also our Music Industry News section (here)
which has all the latest about what's going on in the music industry
- impress/stun/gobsmack your friends by casually dropping in the
conversation the latest info about, say, MVC going bust, The Beatles
suing EMI and much much more.

SCHOLARSHIP
SEARCH have lots of info about
funding including bursaries and grants. It may take a while
to trawl through everything that’s on there, but it may
save you having to get a job whilst you study so it’s
worth it. |

Skill contains advice on where
to apply for additional support if you're a disabled student.
The Government gives Universities and colleges money to take
on disabled students. Take advantage; it's intended for you,
so claim it. |
You can get your daily newspapers as cheap as chips
if you're student. You can pick them up at a cut price rate from
shops on your uni campus, but if you want a read while you're in
your out-of-town digs then it's back to full price again.
But fear not!
You can send off for cool vouchers which are accepted at all newsagents;
just click on the links for The Guardian and The Times below to
order them.
